In the wee hours of this morning, Federal police captured Huber Patiño Gómez. Patiño Gómez is theson of Servando Gomez aka "La Tuta," leader of the Caballeros Templarios Cartel. The arrest occurred in Arteaga, Michoacan after which the suspect was transferred to Apatzingán, for processing and his statement.
The Federal Police learned of a large party that La Tuta may be attending, this initiated a FP operation that resulted in the arrest of Patiño Gómez, he is one of Tuta's three sons. Social media [VXM] is reporting he had a kilo of meth in his possession.
He was armed was being guarded by 20 men. Federal Police had to fly La Tuta's son out via helicopter ,because narcos from Arteaga were called in to free him from police custody.
In March, another of Tuta's sons was arrested in Los Reyes, Michoacan. Luis Alfredo Aguilera, age 23, is a son born out of wedlock, he was in charge of Templarios Los Reyes extortion, and kidnapping. When he was arrested he was in possession of meth, and a large amount of Templarios extortion funds.
