OnSeptember 17th, what appears to be a kidnapping occurs theMinatitlanmunicipality of Veracruz, whereawitnessrecordedtheapparent kidnapping. Fourmen forcibly pulls a man from his automobile, placed him in a truck with darkly tinted windows and drove away.
The man fiercely struggles making it difficult for kidnappers to extract him from his vehicle into the truck, witnesses can be heard shouting "leave him alone".
theincidentoccurredon Franciscode Lara street andVargasnear the cornerwiththeHidalgoAvenueinthecitycentre,justoppositetheTeresitaCollegearea.
Authorities have not confirmed the apparent kidnapping .
"Operation shieldingMinatitlán", was established by GovernorJavierDuartedeOchoa,justthis month, due to the high volume of violence in this municipality and the southern part of the state.
