In a coordinated effort between the Federal Police and members of the Ministerial Police of Michoacán Sergio Andrade García "El Arabe", age 39, was successfully captured.
Michoacán attorney general office says Andrade is considered the leader of Caballeros Templarios lieutenants or deputy leader of the criminal organization, under the leadership of Servando Gomez Martínez "La Tuta."
According to reports by the Attorney General of Michoacán, the subject is likely responsible for killing 12 people, among which is Jesus Rodriguez Bueno , Tzitzio trustee, and John Gabriel Sanchez Aguilera, director of Public Security of Álvaro Obregón.
Andrade was intercepted on the Acambaro Zinapécuaro-road, Morelia and at the time of his capture police seized a .38 super caliber handgun, 12 bundles of marijuana, 44 ammunition, .38 caliber super chargers/clips and a truck.
Prosecutors PGJE also located a farm in the community of Palomas, in the township of Zinapécuaro, where "The Arab" had concealed a cache of weaponry.
Among the crimes attributed to Andrade:
October 12, 2014, killing of two older adults, registered in the community of Peña Cargada, in Charo township.
On October 9, 2014, committed the murder of two women (mother and daughter) who were discovered in an area near the Morelia-Quiroga highway .
On June 15, 2014, in the community of Agua Fria, Charo township, the murder two male persons, who after being killed were thrown into a ravine.
November 8, 2013, killed a merchant in the pulgas (flea market) of Huandacareo.
November 19, 2013, in the Fresno community of Zacapu township, the murder of a young girl
Also on different dates in 2013 is he the suspect in two other murders in the town of Puruándiro, one occurred at a dance.
