...And the protest continues. This compilation of Mexican Artists present a battle cry song with footage of various demonstrations and protests on behalf of the 43 students kidnapped by police and who remain missing. The students were taken into the night by police in Iguala, Guerrero,on September 26th, 2014.

On November 27ththe song will be available on iTunes, Spotify, and other platforms. The proceeds will go to the parents of the missing students

Below I have translated verses, an abridged overview of the song:

Grito de Guerra

What are we going to tell the people of this land, when they ask?
What we are going to say to the children of the homeland, when they ask what happened here?
What happened here, what happened here? (¿Qué pasó aquí, qué pasó aquí?)

How are we going to explain all the spilled blood, when they  ask?
How are we going to explain those that have disappeared?
 The freedom of murderers?
 The absolution of genocide?

 Mexicans cry out,
 The sounds of War
 But there is no war,

There is no war
But murder, here it is legal
Killing here is normal

 Rap:
 Sound the drums
 Sound the dead
We are the mothers of the missing

 We are the earth
 The water, the wind
 The voice that is calling
