Tijuana: Two of 'La Rana' killed
As the contention of the plaza continues, the killings keep coming. The bodies of one man, and one women were found in the trunk of a car abandoned in Plaza China, near the Tijuana River, on Wednesday, July 1st.
The victims were described as 25-30 years old. In typical fashion, they had been strangled to death, and a message attached to the bodies was directed at La Rana, calling him by his other AKA, in Tijuana, Mono Verde. They have not been further identified.
In the days after the bodies were discovered, the violence continued, with several executions, including one ministerial policeman killed, and one attacked. A couple was executed in their car, parked near Friendship Park in Otay, Tijuana.

The couple were indentified as Edgar Hidlago Pedro Perez, and Ana Molina. The male was found outside the car, an older model Taurus, bleeding on the pavement, the women inside, in the passenger side. Eight 9mm shell casings were found at the scene, which investigators are reviewing for links to other murders in the city.
Speaking publicly, the Director of Public Safety stated that the recent murders were all carried out due to the victims direct participation and involvement in organized crime.
