(Tijuano´s note: It is really hard to know who is really behind banners hung in the city, it has been previously said that banners are being signed by other groups in order to "heat up" the plaza for the locals, I´m not saying this banners weren´t left by CAF members, just letting you know, anyway, what is true is that there appears to be a group still loyal to the CAF structure, maybe not with an Arellano Felix as the head-or maybe there is, I dont know-, but there´s also another group apparently formed by former CAF and former CDS members who have aligned themselves with CJNG and is calling itself CTNG, add to the mix the different CDS aligned cells and a Michoacano or two and you get the idea of the reason behind all the mess going on right now in the Tijuana criminal world.)
This evening(September 9th, 2015), at least three banners were hung in different strategic places in Tijuana, all of them have been confirmed by authorities and all of them allegedly signed by the Arellano Felix Cartel (CAF).
Even though the messages were taken down by police agents, they were visible some time to people in the Lazaro Cardenas bridge, another near the Morelos Park, and one more in the Soler bridge. in the Playas de Tijuana district.
Unofficial reports mentioned another banner left in MacroPlaza but it wasn´t officially confirmed.

One of the banners read:

Roughly translated into:

This past Friday, September 4th, Municipal Police agents removed a banner hung on a bridge in the Insurgentes Blvd. claiming Tijuana has "a new owner".
