A Borderland Beat reader has found the location of singer Larry Hernandez. He has been in Reno Nevada, on the right is his booking mugshot from Reno taken on the 16th. He looks worse for the wear in the mugshot and although it is difficult to tell for sure, he does look like he has dropped some pounds.
A check this morning with Reno’s Washoe County Sheriff's Office inmate locator reveals he is once again MIA.
And a earlier morning phone call to Newberry authorities revealed that Hernandez had not arrived there, the assumption is he is somewhere in-between.
On Wednesday October 14th Hernandez was released from the custody of San Bernardino County, in Southern California for extradition to Newberry S.C.
He then was MIA to those interested in his transfer. Daily calls to Newberry county jail turned up empty of any information other than “he is not here yet”.
The desk sergeant stated that they had received over 100 call of inquiry in just a couple of days. The fact that the county inmate search website is under construction and not usable for searches, has not help matters for the staff at county jail.
Hernandez will face charges in Newberry, of kidnapping, third degree assault and battery by mob. The singer is scheduled to face the Judge 24 hours after his arrival.

In a unexpected twist in the case, a new victim has surfaced and is also pressing charges against the Univision “Larrymanía” star.
Efrén Hernández, (at left) a reporter from San Antonio, Texas, gave Univision’s “Primer Impacto” an exclusive interview, in which he revealed details of his disturbing experience with the Mexican singer back in 2013.
The reporter accuses the singer of depriving him of his liberty, assault, threats, and with pilfering equipment belonging to the reporter.
The accuser says that the incident occurred in San Antonio in August, 2013 He said he was conducting an interview with the singer, when he asked Larry a question he had read about on Larry’s social media sites regarding his comments of not wanting to share a stage with the singer “El Pelon” Avila, of whom he was in a rivalry conflict with.

While the video recorded, Larry goes off the rails in anger and demanded the cameras be shut down.
The camera did stop filming, but the audio continued to record capturing the threats Larry made against the reporter.

The reporter said he originally filed a lawsuit against the nightclub where the purported attack occurred, but he was unsuccessful in that case. He said the better case of course would be against the singer, but that he regressed out of fear of reprisals from both Larry and his fans.
He said once he heard about the case of Jose Andrade, where the promoter was asserting very similar accusations, Efren changed his position.
He said he saw that the majority of the media was establishing a prejudice against Andrade, implying and directly accusing him of being a liar in the Newberry case and felt the case may not end with justice served. He decided then to file a law suit to help with the Newberry case.
He is not seeking monetary damages in his case, his sole direction and desire is to see justice prevail and Larry be held accountable in a court of law.
