The Army released the image of an injured man identified as Julio Óscar Ortiz Vega, alías El Kevin. He was the person rescued in Fridays attack.
The commander the ninth Zone Military, Rogelio Teran Contreras, said the image of Kevin was taken while being attended by military personnel at the hospital of Badiraguato.
In that captured in a photograph image can be seen the wounded offender who was being treated by a military elements directly after injury at a hospital in Badiraguato.
Subsequently, the military soldier who was attending El Kevin, lost his life at the hands of criminals who attacked military personnel,
"After saving his life the offender Julio Óscar Ortiz Vega, he was killed by members of the same criminal group to which the person belonged to. The attack killed 5 soldiers and left 10 others injured.
A little more than 48 hours ago, military personnel was deployed to the area, to conduct surveillance day and night, by air and land.
Weapons, drugs, communication radios, and vehicles were seized.
Not one arrest was made.
