According to law enforcement offials, the suspect attempted to bride the officers by offering 500 thousand dollars in exchange of his liberty, however the PEP elements and Ministerial officers, rejected the offer and an investigation for "coercion" will begin because he attempted to bribe officials.

"When he realized that he could not bribe us, he threaten the officials and attempted to intimidate law enforcerment officers by identifyng himself as "El Nito Amavizca", leader of Cartel Beltran Leyva plazas in several states of the country, like Chiapas, Michoacan, Distrito Federal, Nuevo Leon, Sinaloa, Sonora and Baja California, focusing on Guerrero, where he concentrated his efforts in Acapulco and Zihuatanejo, which are ports with high levels of violence due to plaza disputes", according to the Secretary of Public Security.

"Nito" was arrested in 2009 at the airport of Apodaca, Nuevo Leon and again in 2015 in the municipality of Hermosillo; in both cases, he was arrested with carrying guns that are exclusively for the use of the Mexican Army.

According to the law of the National First Respondent, after "Nito" was arrested, he was turned over to the Public Federal Ministry at the installations of the PGR in Sonora, who will then determine the paperwork necessary for the crimes that he committed and will evaluate the Extradition orders of the Government of the United States.
