Miguel Angel Loya, "El Chito", alleged leader of La Linea, the armed wing of the Juarez Cartel, was detained by Federal Forces. He is allegedly responsible for 60% of the executions in various restaurants and night centres, he is to be charged with kidnapping, extortion, sale of, distribution and transit of drugs in the State.

In a short communication, the PGR indicated that Amaya Loya was detained together with Saul , another important member of the criminal organization. Without mentioning an exact location, they signalled that during searches carried out in Ciudad Juarez, they arrested two men, and confiscated two handguns, two kilograms of crystal, a packet of cocaine, a packet of crystal, 28 doses of crystal, fifty three thousand dollars, four vehicles, and diverse radio equipment.




The detention was carried out in coordination with the Federal Forces Division of the Federal Police, on the back of investigations carried out by elements of SEIDO, confirmed the communication.

El Chito, alleged leader of the criminal group La Linea, armed wing of the Juarez Cartel detained today by Federal Forces, had been arrested last year together with an agent of the Municipal Police and three other men in Avenue Manuel Gomez Morin.

However, after an audience of detention control, he was released from prison, because the Judge permitted an objection to his detention, according to a Press archive.

The alleged leader, who has a domicile in Lindavista Colonia, was arrested in February of 2016 together with ex policeman Hector Magallanes Galvan, as well as Gilberto Ramos Garcia and the brothers Edgar and Ivan and David Caudillo Mendoza.

At the moment of arrest, carried out by elements of State Police, the five men were intoxicated,and had cocaine and marijuana on their persons.

A Judge permitted the release of three of them, including the agent, while the three brothers were sent to the State Prison.
