Borderland Beat
I have a little trouble with the idea that in one day the events at La Sirenita previously attributed to Los Zetas are suddenly attributed to CDG. Hmmm? I didn't author the pieces but thought the abrupt shift out there might interest you. Maybe that's what happens when you get beat up, you conveniently forget who is who, and who you work for too? Obviously politics are involved here being such a tourist hot spot.- Thanks Havana

He also earned between $15,000 and $20,000 pesos a month from collection of extortion fees at bars and clubs in the city hotel zone. One of El Apa's lieutenants, El Caballo, instructed el Diablo to execute La Barbie but the instruction order was changed and given to El Humo who went a little crazy with the goat's horn. Garcia Torres said he is still investigating the origin of the debt for which La Barbie alleged owed El Apa. It opened the possibility that the cabbie union leader may also be involved in organized crime
